Class is a mix of gentle yoga combined with restorative yoga which will allow you to experience a rejuvenating and restful practice. Warm up muscles, build strength, increase bone health and gain flexibility while focusing on specific stretches which release tight shoulders and neck as well as hips and hamstrings. Our restorative yoga practice will aid in nurturing a calm, restful mind and a deeply relaxed body. Several supportive props will be used in each restorative yoga posture to invite ease, stillness and release of held tension. This yoga class can provide a really beautiful way to integrate some peace into a busy day.
Suitable for all, including those new to yoga as well as experienced practitioners interested in a gentle and meditative yoga practice.
Class is mainly floor-based with ocassional standing poses. Receive personalized, hands-on adjustments and verbal ques and modifications customized to your body, your needs and level of practice.
